The Nest turns three.

And yet another year goes by! It’s been three years since we launched the agency in April 2021.

It’s been another great year for The Nest with more clients coming on board, a growing team and a move to a new office setting us for further expansion in the years ahead.

Expanding team

June saw us welcome both Liam and Liv into the team as Senior Media Manager and Senior Media Exec respectively.

Liam came across from Adapt and with his strong background in programmatic advertising, he oversees The Nest’s delivery of Digital Display, Digital Video and Digital Out Of Home activity.

Liv came in to help manage a range of clients digital media activity with a strong focus on Paid Social. Before joining the agency, Liv had a stint at Warner Brothers working on the releases of major Hollywood blockbusters.

Office move

In May 2023 we moved from our King Street office to Temple Studios, a lovely spot next to the river and right by Temple Meads train station. Temple Studios is a campus site full of like minded companies; a thriving community of businesses with a fair few marketing agencies based on the site.

The opportunity to work closer with some amazing, complementary, local marketing agencies was a big part of the draw to Temple Studios and we’re happy to report that we’ve made plenty of new friends and are doing some great work with our new neighbours already.

We’ve spent a lot of time making the new space our own with plenty of foliage, some lovely artwork (somewhat nest themed) and a big box of board games throwing up plenty of healthy competition.

New clients

2023 was – in-part – a year of consolidation, settling in new team members and bedding in various clients. We also won some amazing new clients in the last year including E&J Gallo Winery with household brands such as Barefoot, Apothic & Dark Horse. We also welcomed Available Car, The Crystal Maze Live Experience, Chaos Karts and Lush Cosmetics with some brilliant new client campaigns under our belts already.

More great work

We pride ourselves on our workmanship here at The Nest and continue to see some seriously impressive results off the back of our campaign activity.

Persimmons first ever TV campaign, utilised ITV’s Backing Business initiative, driving significant media value, high quality exposure, all leading to very healthy awareness and consideration boosts as well as significant incremental lead increases.

Avery Row continues to grow rapidly as an e-commerce business, fueled by brilliant work across Paid Search and Paid Social – Return on Ad Spend continues to improve year on year despite scaling spend.

Lush Cosmetics delivered probably the most impactful ad we’ve ever been involved with on Outernet London’s immersive screen at Tottenham Court Road station. Their two minute, multidimensional ad taking viewers into another dimension ran across the whole of December 2023, promoting their unique Bathbot product on sale just around the corner at their flagship Oxford Street store.

IPA Corporate Members

With great work comes recognition and in January 2024 we were delighted to have made the grade to become fully fledged Corporate Members of the IPA – The Institute of Practitioners in Advertising.

Becoming a corporate member requires passing a strict agency income threshold and happily, we sailed through those by the end of our second financial year, allowing us to fully join an amazing community of brilliant agencies. This has opened up legal and commercial resources, amazing training opportunities for the team and world-beating research access.

We’re delighted to have been able to become a full IPA member in such a short period of time.
