An agency launch during uncertain times
There’s no denying it - launching a new business is scary at the best of times; launching a new business during a global crisis, with a recession looking likely for many years to come, might even be seen as lunacy!
However, despite all of the uncertainty surrounding us at the moment, at The Nest we think there is a huge opportunity for a new paid media agency business in 2020. Let us explain why…
An extension of your team
When conceptualising The Nest, one of the core purposes was an ability to offer advertisers far more flexibility with their paid media investment than the majority of current media agencies allow.
Put simply, we are able to truly behave like an in-house marketing department would – which for our clients means turning budgets on and off at will, testing and learning without over committing marketing budgets and rolling out campaigns in the most considered of fashions.
It’s all about flexibility
In light of the current Covid-19 pandemic, flexibility has become more important to businesses than ever before, especially as advertising budgets become more pressured and marketing activity becomes all the more accountable.
Many advertisers are looking for adaptability in these current times, without wanting to over commit to marketing budgets – and a small, independent, nimble agency business like ours is something that allows this.
With more limited over-heads, highly flexible processes, low levels of bureaucracy, no pre-defined trading commitments, at The Nest we are able to be a true extension of our client’s marketing team - bringing serious paid media expertise and experience along with serious flexibility. We are here to help our clients to weather the storm, utilising our knowledge and skills to help drive their brands forward and remind their customers that they are still there for them.
With all that in mind, we definitely think that launching our new paid media agency during the current pandemic was the right time, in order to achieve success for both our clients and our own business in a post-Covid world.
